    * One look at the 2014 Compass with its distinct grill, and youa TMll know you are buying a Jeep. It draws from a rich heritage of capability and places it into the body of a striking crossover SUV. With sweeping lines and a modern flair, this beauty is bound to impress. The Compass is available in three models: Sport, Latitude, and Limited. The Sport and Latitude come standard with a 2.0-Liter, 4-Cylinder 158 horsepower engine. The Limited comes standard with a 2.4-liter, 4-Cylinder engine with 172 horsepower, and it is an option for the other two models. The Sport is the only model that comes in a five-speed manual transmission. Optional on the Sport and standard on the Latitude and Limited is the 6-Speed Automatic Transmission. However, all three models give you the option of the AutoStick Automatic transmission, which lets you drive in fully automatic mode or driver interactive manual. The 4x4 is available in two styles: the Freedom Drive I, or the Freedom Drive II. With the Compass, fuel efficiency capabilities vary depending on which combination of engine, drivetrain, and transmission types you choose. However, the best gas mileage is achieved if you choose the Sport model with its 2.0-liter engine, front-wheel drive, and manual transmission. It gives you an EPA estimated 23 MPG City and 30 MPG Highway. Inside the Compass dash controls are intuitive and within easy reach. If you go with the Latitude or Limited, audio controls are on the steering wheel. Standard on the Limited and optional on the Latitude is the Uconnect System with a 6.5-inch touchscreen, and the ability to use voice commands for making calls and controlling your MP3 player. For storage, there is 53.6 cubic feet of cargo space when the rear seats are folded. Jeep has considered safety as well for the Compass. Standard on all models is electronic stability control, roll mitigation, speed control, brake assist, and an array of airbags. Drive the 2014 Jeep Compass today! Source: The Manufacturer Summary

    • Lesser Model of not so much fun

The vehicle within 120,000 miles and 4.6 years of ownership has been more of a drag on life than a positive experience. Everything from ball joints, to transmission issues, even the sellers were terrible. Front end of the car needed to be redone as well as the rear, full bearings and hubs within 90,000 miles. The interior was poorly made and designed, its to tight in spots and material wise the seats ripped just from sitting in them, Selt belts barely click and the radio wasnt worth anything more than a clock. It looks like some sort of knock off kia but falls apart faster. No space for car seat toddlers and the cargo area is small. Overall the car is a dumpster fire.
    • Reliable Smaller SUV

Bought this when we were expecting our second child. Really loved to drive it. It did get a bit uncomfortable on longer trips, but easily fit two car seats. Had an accident and the airbags deployed as they should have, and everyone was fine. My favorite features were the remote start, heated seats, and an actual FULL SIZE outlet plug! Clock quit working fairly quick which was annoying. The plastic elements of the car seemed to be kinda cheap.
    • Great car, very reliable

Im the first owner of a Jeep Compass 2011. It has 55000 miles and is very reliable. It needs nothing but the oil change. I take it off-road in Utah and New Mexico. Original 4x4 handles all road conditions very well. I especially like the CVT, which gives a super smooth ride. Im going to keep my 2011 Compass for as long as it lasts.
